Barrio Franklin – Explore the Vintage Santiago

We show you all the best angles. No previous photography knowledge needed!

We start our “not like all the other walking tours” experience at a local cultural center. You will learn how to use a vintage Polaroid instant camera from the early 1990s at the start of your tour.

Your local guide will help you find out how to create your own beautiful photo souvenirs!

While exploring the trendy but yet still full of tradition and history, neighborhood Barrio Franklin you’ll see and learn about what makes this district so special. Believe us, there’s a lot to see!

Take home eight one-of-a-kind Polaroids from your sightseeing adventure in Santiago.

During your analog photo adventure in the trendy Barrio Franklin you will discover

  • factories that were turned into galleries,
  • narrow streets with local merchants stalls where you will find all sorts of antiques, furnitures, clothing and, most importantly… delicious FOOD from all over the world!
  • learn in about the early settlers that stated this area as their homeland and the radio station they run.
  • You will have  a chat with the vendors about what makes the area special and finally you will see the “Sixtine Chapel” of Santiago.

This and much more waits for you to be captured with your new best friend, the vintage Polaroid camera!
